Hi, I’m Gracie the heart behind Dogwood Days Photography.

I’m 28 years old, a mother of five, and I’ve been a freelance photographer for the past eight years. Photography found me early in life, taught by my grandmother, who captured the world in black and white film. Through her lens, I learned to slow down, notice light, and appreciate the quiet beauty in the smallest details lessons that still guide my work today.

My grandmother’s favorite flowers are dogwoods, and they hold deep meaning for me. Each bloom carries five petals, a reflection of my five beautiful children who keep me young, adventurous, and deeply aware of life’s tiny, meaningful moments. They inspire the way I see the world and the way I photograph families.
